My private therapy practice focuses on overall wellness — which includes physical health, mental clarity, nutrition, lifestyle, and healthy relationships. I specialize in anxiety control, self concept, stress management, and relationship concerns.

My approach to therapy benefits anyone who has struggled to find balance, is consumed by unhelpful thinking, or has a deep desire to feel worthy of love and belonging. It’s for those who have found themselves caught in cycles of anxiety, toxic relationships, low self esteem, and negativity. It is ideal for individuals and couples who want to embrace life in a healthier, fuller, and more vulnerable way.

SELF-CARE

Find inner peace through stress management techniques, healthy rituals, and mindfulness practices. You will be provided with a multitude of resources, including books and other media recommended learning, as well as homework worksheets and workbooks. Therapy is a collaborative process but ultimately change is in your hands. Change your mind, change your life, find your happiness

Transform the way you perceive yourself and others, and uncover the links between past and present influences on your self concept, deepening your relationship with yourself in the process.

Sessions can be conducted in-person at my office in New York City, or remote via video chat (available to New York State residents only).

Frequently Asked Questions

 

What does it cost? Your treatment will be highly individualized and effective, and my fees reflect the work I put in to each and every individual I see. I do not accept insurance other than Cigna, and there is a reason for this - therapy is largely preventive  in nature, which means it is difficult to justify medical necessity to restrictive insurance companies. I would rather work with you without the stringent red tape of insurance protocols so that you can continue in therapy without needing justification for doing so. Additionally, therapy is not meant to last forever which means the expense has an end date. My work is solution focused and  I aim to help you, not to keep you stuck in the same cycles of thoughts, feelings, and beliefs that may have necessitated therapy in the first place. Together, we will arm you with skills and tools that will allow you to leave therapy having successfully completed your goals.

  • Individual Sessions: $150 weekly sessions paid per week

  • Couples Sessions: $200 paid per week

  • Insurance: Cigna - copay/coinsurance is dependent on your individual plan

What are your specialities? Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, stress management, development of positive self concept, vulnerability, lifestyle balance, and integrative nutrition for mental health issues. 

What are your credentials? I graduated from Columbia University School of Social Work in 2011 and received my LMSW (Licensed Master of Social Work) that same year. I completed a post graduate program in Advanced Therapy at NYU in 2013, and was licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in 2014. (Read More link to about page?)
